Jude Neu, RN, ANS
Jude worked in psychiatry and geriatrics before joining Dr. Philip Incao in his anthroposophical medical practice as an anthroposophic nurse midwife in 1980. She was one of the first nurses to be certified as an Anthroposophic Nurse Specialist in the USA. She has worked in office and community healthcare, offering homecare and home care courses as well supporting families in prenatal, birthing and postpartum care. Currently she is the nurse supervisor at Camphill, Copake and offers anthroposophic nursing treatments at Collaborative Medical Arts. Jude’s special interests are external treatments with herbal preparations used as wraps, compresses, poultices and inhalations. She has a strong belief in giving parents to be and new parents the opportunity to support pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience with anthroposophic medicine and nursing. Betsy Cashen is a Registered Dietitian/Certified Nutritionist in New York State. She has a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University and completed a dietetic internship at University of California, San Francisco Hospital. She has 25 years of experience providing whole food nutrition and specialized diet education to diverse clients from infants to adults: in the home setting; in-services for agency staff; and for community groups. Her foundation in traditional dietetics is complemented with training and work experience with: special diets for children with digestive disturbances and autism; addressing the nutrition deficits of the low-fat diet paradigm; value-added processing of fresh local produce including lacto-fermented vegetables, and wild-crafting of edible greens food; and nutrition with in the framework of an anthroposophic perspective. Seth Morrison, Therapeutic Eurythmist
Seth Morrison graduated from the ‘Eurythmieschule’ in Nurenberg, Germany in 1980. He then studied Therapeutic Eurythmy in Stuttgart and received his diploma in 1982. He worked as a therapeutic eurythmist at different Waldorf schools in the US until 1990 when he moved to the Berkshire/Taconic area. For 23 years, he has worked at the Camphill Village in Copake, New York. Seth also worked at the Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School for fifteen years and the Hawthorne Valley School for seven years. He also maintains a private practice, in coordination with physicians and therapists in the area. Since 2001, he has been Co-Director of the ‘Therapeutic Eurythmy Training in North America’ , an internationally recognized training course in Therapeutic Eurythmy. Margaret Rosenthaler, RN
Margaret Rosenthaler is a registered nurse with 36 years of experience. She received a BA at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a BSN at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She studied rhythmical massage and hydrotherapy at the Margaretha Hauschka Schule in Boll, Germany; anthroposophical nursing at the Ita Wegman Klinik in Arlesheim, Switzerland; Anthroposophical psychology in the Psychosophy Seminar, and oil dispersion hydrotherapy with Thomas von Rottenburg. For the past 29 years, she has maintained a private practice in anthroposophical nursing, rhythmical massage and oil dispersion hydrotherapy. She worked in the medical practices of various Anthroposophical physicians in England and in Ghent, New York and Camphill, Copake, NY. She has more than eight years of hospital and community health nursing experience. Elisabeth Schlieben Pisila, Rhythmical Massage Therapist
Elisabeth Schlieben Pisila received her diploma from the Swedish Institute for Massage in 1976 and received her NY State license at that time. She trained at the Margaretha Hauschka-Schule fur Massage in Boll, Germany in 1977-78. She taught Rhythmical Massage at the Margarethe Hauschka-Schule in 1984, introductory and continuing education courses held in the U.S.A. 1978-86 and at the School for Rhythmical Massage, U.S.A. in the 1990s. Her work has been in private practice, with physicians and at Camphill, Copake where she has practised for 37 years. She currently works at Camphill, Copake and CMA. Jeanne Simon-MacDonald, Therapeutic Eurythmist
Jeanne Simon-MacDonald is a therapeutic eurythmist and teaches and performs eurythmy. She is also a licensed practical nurse. She has worked in adult education, as a therapist in private practice and as a nurse. She is currently a therapeutic eurythmist at Camphill Village, Copake.
